Over the years Rivertime has developed a series of interesting and innovative events which form part of the Corporate Days Afloat that the company can offer to its clients. These are very much participative activities and require a varying degree of activity. Corporate Regattas on the Thames are unique to Rivertime and on these occasions those participating have huge fun racing in a variety of boats at a choice of locations.

Nautical Treasure Hunts are again novel in that teams of 5 or 6 set off in skippered electric boats to find clues up and down the river. There are medals for the winners and these treasure hunts require mental rather than physical agility.

Rivertime has developed a way in which the epic Thames journey of Jerome K Jerome's "Three Men in a Boat" can be recreated.

4 x 3-man skiffs are provided with a support boat which carries the provisions and can also tow the boats if the rowers tire!

 

Corporate Regattas

Rivertime has specialised for a number of years in making this novel and unique entertainment into a day to remember. A perfect occasion for team building, staff incentives and training, corporate entertainment or just a good fun day out. Whether a first time boater or experienced waterman, a Corporate Regatta gives everyone a chance to compete in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Rivertime proudly boasts the widest range of racing craft available on the Thames. You can paddle your own canoe, join in the team fun of a dongola race or pedal your own pedalo. Regattas are naturally customised to meet your own requirements but generally consist of heats, semi-finals and of course crowd pleasing finals!

Generally the participants divide into four teams providing crews to race in a variety of boats with medals for the winners. Safety boats and umpire launches are always on hand.

Treasure Hunts

Treasure hunts on the river offer a magical cruise meandering on the banks of the River Thames. Whether a product promotion, entertaining clients or simply a treat for employees or friends a Rivertime treasure hunt always creates a memorable day afloat.

Each team of up to 6 members is skippered by a qualified crew, hunting for clues and occasionally mooring up to discover the secrets of the riverbank. To add to the challenge Rivertime also supplies a general knowledge questionnaire which is often personalised to reflect the theme of the day.

Three Men in a Boat.

Follow Jerome K. Jerome by reliving his famous story 'Three men in a Boat (to say nothing of the dog) by taking advantage of the flotillas arranged by Rivertime with 4 skiffs and a support boat. Each skiff takes up to 3 scullers and the support boat has the picnic on board and can also tow the boats. There are a number of picnic spots and these flotillas make an excellent team building event.
